"Reid knows his stuff. First thing I noticed about him during our first chat is that he's a listener - essentially he's there to service you and not shove a product or service down your throat.   He worked with me getting to a rate that I was comfortable with.  On the day of the ceremony, he arrived, right on time, got  set up and was pretty inconspicuous for the rest of the time except for some specific directions.  We got our videos about 3 days after the ceremony, complete with all the raw footage.  His work is AMAZING, very well put together and professionally done.  It definitely captured the essence of the day including  all the silly moments when you thought no one was watching.  We crack up and smile every time watching our wedding videos.  Definitely recommended."

I usually find that in general, wedding couples usually book their videographer much later in the wedding planning process than many of their other vendors.  Sometimes a wedding photographer might be booked a year or more out, while I might be booked for wedding videography 6 months or so before the wedding date.  Usually you don't get booked less than a WEEK out, which was the case for my most recent wedding video.

I received an email 7 or 8 days prior to February 26, asking if I was available for videography on that date and what the cost would be.  After going back and forth with the couple throughout the night, they told me they would discuss it and get back to me.  Not hearing from them again, I put the conversation out of mind and almost forgot about it. I awoke on February 24 with an email in my inbox that read something to the effect of "let's do it."  With my schedule still free on February 26, I hoped on a ferry and rode to Bainbridge Island excited to have been able to add another "off season" wedding to my schedule.

When I arrived on location, a rented private residence near the water, I was overwhelmed with the joy and excitement that seemed to be running wild throughout the property.  The family was from Nigeria, and many of them had come to the island to witness the marriage and then party the night away in this magnificent house.  There were smiles and hugs all around and I felt instantly at home with the 30 or so guests that were there.

We unfortunately encountered some rain during the wedding ceremony which was outside on the lawn behind the house.  The bride and groom had purchased large umbrellas as wedding gifts for their guests, so we all huddled together and witnessed a truly memorable ceremony.  Complete with mugging to the camera as they exited after the ceremony, the groom and his bride both had tons of personality which made the rest of the night - from picture taking outside to a money dance including all their family and friends even more memorable.

I am grateful for the last minute email and the opportunity to witness the marriage of two people who are very much in love.  In the words of the groom - "They're AMAZING, very impressed man!"
