Welcome everyone to another installment of your weird wedding news! We hope everyone is having a fantastic Holiday season and gearing up for a New Year--because we certainly are! To cap off 2018, we are bringing you just a few more stories! Let us go out with a bang!

A quickie to get us started: comedian Dave Chappelle, who is often noted to hate taking fan photos, happened upon an Ohio Brewery during the engagement shoot for Thomas Saunders and Emily Eldridge.

Surprised the comedian showed up, but certainly not willing to interrupt the celebrity, the couple and photographer made their way outside for a few more photos. When Chappelle showed up outside, the couple went up to ask for a photo, only for him to politely decline. Shortly after (and after learning about Saunders’ military service) Chappelle made his way over to photobomb their shot!

You might have used the excuse of “my dog ate my homework,” once or twice, but what about when your dog actually eats your wedding ring? An adorable little labradoodle by the name of Bella wound up with owner Cindy McCombs’ ring in her stomach, but was only discovered after being inadvertently waved down by a metal detector.

To avoid actually cutting Bella open (the dog had failed to produce the ring through induced vomiting) they were able to use a special forcep tool to retrieve the ring. Yes, the dog is ok so you do not need to worry!

Remember a few weeks ago about the story of the stolen wedding dress (yes, I know there are a lot of them) from the back seat of a car after it had been left there overnight to be taken to the cleaners? Well, good news has come out of the story as an anonymous man has returned the stolen dress!

The nameless man contacted Jessica Blackwell, who had gone viral in her attempts to get her dress back, and agreed to meet her to return the dress. It has not been announced whether the man in question is the actual thief, or if he had just come by the dress accidentally. Either way, a happy ending!

Mandy Moore is everywhere again and it’s pretty fantastic! Starring on the heartbreaking and emotionally sadistic This Is Us, she makes us cry pretty much every week, but this time we can celebrate her wedding!

Marrying musician Taylor Goldsmith in a private ceremony in LA, the previously-married actress/musician wore a magical pink dress. Designed by Rodarte, the gown was created exclusively for her wedding day. Inspiring a “welcome, fashion-forward change to the super-traditional mix of this year’s celebrity wedding gowns,” she really made a statement and looked splendid as well! The small, 50-person wedding featured many of her costars and friends. Congrats!

Back in November, a wedding in Vienna really stirred things up on the internet--at least for China. That’s probably a weird sentence to read, and that’s because this is an interesting story. Tiffany Tang Yan (a Chinese Actress) wed Luo Jin (another famous actor in China) in a luxurious and highly-anticipated wedding.

Igniting social media in a firestorm, the wedding was sponsored by a number of high-class brands. Along with it came the controversy that the wedding was more of a tourist attraction that highlighted expensive brands rather celebrating just the love of these two. The Vienna Tourism Board even posted on the internet that they had hoped the wedding would bring tourists to the city, which is absolutely absurd for a wedding!

What do you think? Is this too much?

The final story this week might make you a little queasy. In the wonderful world of eBay purchases, you can find some pretty wild things. This week brings us the amazing prospect of owning 32-year-old cake!

That’s right! Fans of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson can literally buy some of their wedding cake. Described on eBay as “vintage condition,” it should certainly be noted that one should not eat it. The pictures hardly make it look edible as it is, almost like a bad coffee cake, but it does come in the original box. It sold for around $40.
