“Reid and Best Made Videos were wonderful! For the entire year leading up to the wedding, Reid was responsive and professional. On the day of our wedding, he brought a level of energy and enthusiasm that added to our special day. We absolutely love our wedding video. He captured the funniest and most intimate moments of our wedding. Within the first 24 hours of receiving the video, we watched it about 10 times and look forward to watching it many more times in the years to come. Hiring a videographer and hiring Reid, was one of the best decisions we made while planning our wedding. Thank you so much Best Made Videos!”

Anybody who has ever headed out on I-90 on their way to the Gorge, Ellensburg, or eastward in general would have surely passed by Suncadia and Swiftwater Cellars, though you just probably didn’t realize it. Tucked away off the highway, right near the Cascade Mountains, lies the winery which boasts an upscale restaurant and some of the finest wines you’re likely to ever try. With seating for hundreds, meals prepared by the Executive Chef and enough breathtaking views, it’s a surprise we haven’t come here more for weddings!

Back in September, we headed off there for the Groshong Wedding. A quiet day, just at the end of summer when it’s still warm enough to be outside, the morning got off to a smooth start aside from the bane of all man’s existence: tie-tying. Once all of the men were ready, they took some celebratory shots to ease the pressure.

Way out in the country, up against what many might consider a cliche barn, the bride and groom met for their serene first look. While the ground may not have been too favorable for the bride in her heels, the look on Ryan’s face when he saw Rachel was more than enough to make up for the inconvenience. Sharing a kiss and looking with nothing but pure elation into each other’s eyes, they gave us some absolutely magical shots.

Soon everyone joined in, and we were able to fit all twenty-plus people into one frame. The ladies looked spellbinding in their ruby and peach dresses while the gents looked suave as can be with their suits. Though Ryan was almost dropped for the sake of a photo, the spirits continued to grow throughout the day. There’s nothing like a few funny poses to take the edge off of things. There’s also nothing quite like the sight of Ryan and Rachel wandering from the woods in a sweeping meadow.

Once it was time for the ceremony, and the adorable little girls filled the aisle with flowers (one dropped her basket, resulting in the first tears of the day), the look on Ryan’s face as he saw his bride approaching said it all. After a series of heartwarming speeches, vows, and the magical words spoken by the officiant, Ryan and Rachel–with a kiss–were officially husband and wife.

After just a few more photos, it was time to head off to the reception inside the cellars proper. Underneath the building, sprawling tables filled the space. Stomachs were ready for some delicious food and boy was it ever tasty. After their first dances, the night kicked into high gear as the guests made their way to the dance floor to finish off the night on a high note. The party went on and on, though it had to end eventually.

Thanks again to bride and groom Rachel and Ryan for choosing Best Made Videos to film their wedding! We’re a little late, but happy six-month anniversary!
