Welcome everyone! The weather is no longer so freaking frigid, the sun is peeking out more, and wouldn’t you know it, but wedding season is coming up! We’re feeling pretty excited about all that and so should you. After a dreadful winter, it’s about time for some fun in the sun and wedding celebrations! This week we’ve got a few quick stories to tide you over until we get really going with the new weddings! Get ready, here we go.
We were all saddened by the breakup of Anna Faris and Chris Pratt, one of the few Hollywood couples we rooted for to last (good thing there’s still Dax and Kristen,) but now Chris is engaged to the daughter of the Terminator himself: Katherine Schwarzenegger. Engaged for a few months now, the couple have moved fast and furiously, citing their faith as one of the reasons they have been so blissfully happy. So far, they have decided on a summer wedding, perhaps in California where Katherine’s father was the Governator as well.
Alas, we Washingtonians can be a little sad that Chris won’t be tying the knot up in Lake Stevens…but if they end up changing their minds, we’re throwing our hat into the ring to shoot it!
If you think the partying doesn’t stop for the Jonas Brothers, you’re absolutely right. At least, that’s what this article goes on to state as Priyanka and Nick have had yet another reception, now stateside. What was one of the most storied weddings we’ve heard of in a while, just keeps on going. Holding it at Nellie’s Southern Kitchen (owned, by you guessed it, the Jonas family), they gorged on chicken and dumplings, fried catfish and more.
On top of already hitting up multiple honeymoon locations, these two are having quite the time as married couple. Who knows what’s in store for their six-month anniversary!?
I hate to do this to you, but now we have to talk about money–particularly what you’re spending on things for your wedding that really add up without you realizing! Starting out with the small things: consider the stamp that goes on all your invitations (and thank-you cards), that’s going to add up quite fast depending on the size of wedding. Sure you could opt for emails, but this isn’t some office party you’re inviting everyone to!
Wedding cake tasting is also a sneaky cost, depending on your baker and how many samples you go through. Oh, and if you’re making your own website for your big day, don’t forget about having to buy a domain name for the duration of your engagement! Check out the article for even more hidden costs!

Justin Bieber has really ebbed and flowed in the eyes of the general public. Pop sensation, annoying teenager, silly shenanigans and now he is married! Remember the time we tried to deport him?
Justin and Haley Bieber got hitched way back in September in a simple courthouse wedding. But as of January, they were still thinking about hosting a big celebration for family and friends who didn’t get to celebrate the marriage itself. Except, it has been continually pushed back to as far as this month.
So far there hasn’t been much word, but just the other day Justin came out to announce that he is taking a bit of a break from producing music to focus on his marriage and (based on some pics from around the internet) a supposed baby on the way! Here’s to hoping they are both happy and enjoying married life!
